Pokémon Sword Expansion Pass or Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass (Retail Version) – [Switch Digital Code]

When you purchase the retail version of the Pokémon Sword Expansion Pass/Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass you will receive a download code that you can redeem in Nintendo eShop for either the Pokémon Sword Expansion Pass or the Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass. Upon redeeming the code, you will be prompted to select one Expansion Pass. You can only redeem this code for one Expansion Pass, so please select the version that corresponds to the game you have.

The first new adventure unlocked by the Expansion Pass will take place on the Isle of Armor. Many Pokémon make this island their home, living freely amid the lush nature. The island is also home to a dojo for Pokémon battles. Players and their Pokémon will train hard to become stronger under Mustard, the master of this dojo.

The second area unlocked by the Expansion Pass is the snow-swept realm of the Crown Tundra, a frigid yet beautiful landscape—with jagged winter mountains and shining, silvery landscape. A man named Peony will appoint the player as the leader of his exploration team in the Crown Tundra and task them with investigating the reaches of this frozen land. Players will also be able to explore the depths of the Pokémon Dens seen during Max Raid Battles and find several previously unseen Legendary Pokémon.

The Pokémon Sword Expansion Pass is only compatible with the Pokémon Sword game and the Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass is only compatible with the Pokémon Shield game. Please only choose the Expansion Pass for the full game that you own. If you own both the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games and want access to the Expansion Passes for both games, both the Pokémon Sword Expansion Pass and the Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass are required. Each area offers a different adventure, where you’ll be able to visit the far reaches of the Galar region and meet the people and Pokémon that live there
